Anodised aluminium frame – premium durability

IP44 protection rating

Thanks to the IP44 protection rating, the design effectively protects the electrical system against the ingress of moisture and small particles, ensuring stable and safe operation of the LED backlighting. Aluminium profile

A sturdy aluminium profile is used on the back of the mirror, serving as a structural base for the LED strips. The mirror lighting is mounted onto this profile, ensuring stable installation and even light distribution. This solution is significantly more durable and reliable than standard foam components, which can become warped or mouldy over time in the damp bathroom environment.

Aluminium profile vs. standard foam – what are the benefits?

Longer mirror lifespan. Aluminium does not ‘warp’ under the influence of moisture and temperature, so the structure remains stable for years.
Fewer burnt-out LEDs. The profile dissipates heat, ensuring the lighting lasts longer and operates more reliably.
No peeling LED strips. The lighting is securely fixed and does not come loose over time.
Aluminium is a material resistant to steam and splashes, unlike standard foam, on which unsightly mould may appear.

Increased number of LEDs

In GLASMO mirrors, we have used 90–100 LEDs, whilst around 60 LEDs is the standard for most competitors.

A higher density of LEDs ensures brighter, more even and more pleasant light, which is evenly diffused around the mirror. There are no dark patches or harsh shadows, which significantly enhances the comfort of everyday use – particularly when applying make-up, shaving or grooming – and the glow on the wall itself looks more elegant and modern, emphasising the bathroom’s design.

Anti-shatter film

The mirrors feature a special anti-shatter film that strengthens the glass pane and enhances safety. In the event of damage or breakage, the film prevents the glass from shattering into sharp pieces, holding the fragments in place. Thanks to this protection, the mirror is not only more durable but also safer for household members, including children.
